Fourth Quarter Book Recommendation 2022

Four times a year, at the end of each quarter, I consider all the books I've read over those three months and offer my recommendation for one book I would suggest you try.
Not merely sticking to my favourite, but more in terms of which I would consider a good all-rounder for a broader audience.

In the fourth quarter of 2022, I read 8 books.

From those books here is my pick of the bunch.

“A masterpiece”

The Picture of Dorian Gray, I can hear you thinking, is the second 19th-century book I've suggested this year. But I assure you, it very much deserves your attention.

Apart from being one of my all-time favourite novels, it is also a stunning piece of literature. Forget all the adaptations and paraphrasing of this story and the main character you might have come across, none compare to reading the original tale by Oscar Wilde.

The Picture of Dorian Gray is simply a must-read and I will not apologies for badgering everyone to read it.
